Anybody got experience with putting hids in denali projectors? I read a good while ago that some people had clearance issues. Any reccomended souces for affordable kits? I know you can upgrade to accura projector housings, but that's a lot of work. I'm looking to do my fogs and low beams with 6k-5k. Also I remember reading that you can delay the auto headlight feature to kep them off until the trucks started. Any more on this?

I thought I read somewhere that hids in projectors was not good idea. I could be wrong though. Maybe someone else will chime in and back me up or correct me.

I have, just use OEM denali projectors and it works perfectly.

Great cutoff and nobody flashing you at night. Ive done it to 4 of my trucks with no problems. I had a post about it on dieselplace.

So Cal.
I have 55 watts 5000k hids in my denali lights installed on my 02 2500 gmc. They work great, nice cut off.

I use HIR bulbs in my Denali projectors and like them, not sure on the HID. I read somewhere that the projector is not the right kind for HID, but if some are having good experiences then try it.
