DDM. Just put mine in about 2 weeks ago and love them. I went with 35watt 6k's in the lows and fogs.

I bought a set from Retro Solutions.. Had a problem with a relay harness and they sent me a new one the next day.

Pretty good folks.. Lifetime warranty on some of their kits. I went with the 5K lows/fogs.

Another vote here for retro-solutions. There is a thread on df on retro's section that I did a comparison of cheap hid's and his kit. You'll be amazed of the difference.

I have been doing a little research and talking to a couple techs at Retro Soultions and that is the direction I will be going here soon for my HIDs. They might even be vendors on here, I know they are over on DF. Good luck in your search. :thumb:

yes the 55 watt will be brighter and will wash out some of the color of the bulb. A 35 watt 8000k set will be more blue then the 55 watt 8000k set. Now that being said for low beams and fogs there is no need for the 55 watt set, you will blind a lot of drivers and if you come across a cop you will probably get a healthy ticket. I have 35 watt 8000k lows, 35 watt 3000k fogs and 55 watt 8000k highs and people complain about mine headlights and I have them aimed low.

Cheap chinese VVME for me, havent had a failure in 4 years on my LBZ nor my colorado and LB7.

Considering all of the HID bulbs ar emade outside of the US, maybe except for BF, I'll buy the cheapest kit. :thumb:

Whats DDM guys? I haven't hear of that one. Sounds like retro solutions is the way to go. My buddy showed me that site on his powerstroke army site. Now to just figure out what series to get. I want a blue light color. Not sure if i am going to need high beams or not if i just do my low beams and fog lights.

Running 3 sets of VVME's on my truck. Once in a while one of the fogs goes out, and I have to click them off and on.. then it's fine. Easy install, bright... hard to complain for how cheap they are.

These are in my bike which has projectors but these are my 5000Ks. They look a little blue in the pictures but in person they're as white as I've personally ever seen HIDs.

Guess i may go with 55w 8000k for high and low, and then the 35w 6000k for the fogs. Wonder how that would look? Or just keep 6000k for all the lights?
