Yes there have been reported issue's. They may warranty it, but your rig will be down not to mention time lost/cost shipping/picking stuff up. It's a bunch of kid's from the family tearing down/rebuilding what your buying. I would definitely say your better off some place else, unless overpaying for part's from arrogant people is your thing.

I'm not buying a reman. I'm buying a used long block motor pulled straight from a truck with 20k miles.
The used pulled long blocks are 2500 bucks. Short blocks are 1800.

If I do a "reman" it'll be one I rebuild and not for a junk yard.

How about a rebuilt short block?

I don't have the time to swap everything, I'm working on my garage, my house, working extra days for dumbass rig moves because my company said we could move 1,000,000 pound rig in 5 days for no reason and I have a new born.

If it wasn't for all that, I'd have a fully built shortblock, plus I'm paying payments on a truck that's not running, I want it running soon.

I bought a complete 18k mile engine from them for my lml. Just had them ship it since I couldn't drive there for the price shipping was. However what I received was a mud up if parts from numerous lml's. Long story, but they did help me out a little on the price since most of the accessories and turbo were junk. So just check it over.

When I got mine they told me they normally didn't track the milages on the long blocks and short blocks, but they said they're all disassembled and checked out before they're sold.

That's what I thought I was getting buying one with 18k miles. I will agree the block, heads, egr coolers, egr valves, 1 up pipe damper, and flywheel looked brand new.

It was spotless under the valve covers, had new head gaskets, and sealer on the oil pans. I was told they have guys tear it down then it goes to the engine shop and gets checked out. Then back to the shop where they have guys dress the engines with accessories.

Not sure why they go through all the hassle when they have a running engine with 18k miles.

I bought my Denali from them. Still in the process of finishing it up. While the transaction was not smooth as glass (I can be very difficult to deal with), they have been good to work with.

I have been in their old shop (3) times, at that time they had a dedicated "motor build" area. It was my impression that only one guy worked in that area and he kept a pretty tight reign on it.

Last time I was there, they were finishing up a new building, so the lay out may have changed.

I would not hesitate to deal with them again.

Too darn expensive for what you get. Id rather peruse car-part and find a better deal locally.

I bought a rebuilt longblock from them. They started out with a brand new 2016 block and used the best parts from the generations and it was really nice. Truck runs super with it. I didnt think the price was bad at all . They do only have one guy building motors for them.

I talked to the engine build guy. He is the only one building motors and will rebuild or build them how you want. But he doesn't assemble the accessories on them. I wish I could post pictures on here just to show what the dip stick looked like that came of of the engine I received.

I don't think I could've beat the deal. The engine was 6700 complete shipped to me in central pa. When I ran into all the issues Dan agreed to refund me some money. Took a few weeks for the refund bit I did get it.
