hey yall my name is mike i am new to the site. i live in SE PA. right now i own a bombed 01 dodge with a cummins. the truck is for sale i am shopping for a dmax. i feel like i am starting kindergarden all over again. cummins / dmax very different monsters. i am lost...so forgive me if i start asking stupid questions i am just trying to learn...right now i have my eyeball on a 07 GMC CC LB 3500 dually 4x4 w/ 19,000 miles. anything i need to know? said and done i want a 500hp truck thats here i am at now with my dodge so i dont wanna go backwards...can a lbz hold 500rwhp without cracking a piston? i know the trans will need to be redone but how is the lbz?

Some can and some can't. There are no guarantees unfortunately.
Wendy has over had over 500 rwhp for almost 4 years without issue. But, I have seen other trucks crack a piston with less then that.
