Allison 5sp: Hey Mike...fluid change question

I have to change my trans fluid in a few thousand miles. Is it worth it to change to Transynd when there is regular Dexron III in there, I think. If so approximately how many changes until there is full Transynd in the trans.
Also what are the Allison rating specific to the 1000's i.e. TES-295 and C-4. Saw these on Castrol HD MP atf.
I know this is probably old info, but I was unsure. Thanks for the help.

After two changes it should be around 90 percent transynd. ie put miles on truck between two changes though lol

I guess I'll change it and try to change it again after about 10K, hoping to get a higher percentage of transyd. I plan to build it, but probably not until summer now.

Is there any problem with the mineral and synthetic acting against each other or not combining?

WolfLLY is correct. The fluid is compatible.

Do you know if the Allison ratings apply to the 1000, or should you just use the Dexron III markings? The book says Dexron and nothing about the Allison ratings that I found on their site.

if it says approved for allison use then chances are it is ok. it is an allison

I am currently running a mix of Dex VI and Amsoil Torque Drive. I have only done one change so far.

Beach, that is what I thought. I figured it would be ok, but the way my luck goes with auto trans' I would screw something up.
