Just joined came across a lot of really helpful and good info on here so I had to join! I have an "08" that I run EFI live with Randall's custom time on, AFE intake, 5" straight pipe and egr delete. Just had to replace the transmission cooling lines and went with the deviant racing ones. While I was at it I did the tranny service and got rid of the dex 6 and went to Tes295 fully synthetic. I ended up refilling about 3-1/2 gallons worth. Now I'm just wondering if I should air on the side of caution and break my new lines loose at the cooler to make sure they have flow in them? Any sugestions would be appreciated!

I personally wouldn't bother checking for flow in the lines by removing them. Just drive the truck around for a bit, and feel if the transmission cooler starts to warm up. If the lines aren't flowing, it should stay cold, and the trans temp will shoot up pretty quick in town.
