Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and to Duramax's. I've been a Cummins guy my whole life so I'm not entirely new to the diesel scene (I'm a diesel mechanic at day and a machinist at night). I'm hoping to be picking up a 2003 Duramax that this guy has for a great price. Hoping to get some pictures of it for you and get as much info here as I can. Hoping to be a new Duramax lover as I am with the Cummins.

^^Currently, I don't own a dodge But I have a lot of friends that do. I agree with the diesel is diesel, which is why I'm not impartial to buying one (except the Ford 6.0 lol). In all honesty, I've never owned a truck period. Always been a car guy, but this time I felt if I'm getting a truck, I'd like something I can use for work and hauling my car around in.
Here are the pics of the duramax I'm looking at:
He said the only issue with it is that it has a couple of bent pushrods (which is what brought me to this site, to get more info on that issue).
As far as now, I currently drive a 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution MR/Se. I blew it up last year at just a tad over 750awhp, and now I'm doing a 1kwhp build on her and hoping to have it done for the summer (thus why I need a truck lol).
