Hemi Goat learns a lesson

Sitting at a light heading home and when the light turns green I took off lightly as normal. Hear some loud exhaust and look over see a Ram Hemi keeping pace. Didn't think much of it till I hear him give it some more gas. What the hell, I'll play. Give it just enough throttle to stay beside him. Then he floors it. No problem. I can do that too. By the time I hit 60 he was checking out my rear bumper. Got off it and let him go by. He didn't even look over at me. I then realized that he had a woman with him. Guessing GF or wife. No wonder he didn't seem too happy to get beat. 1st Kill!!

There's a 4WD Hemi 1500 around here that has quite a bit done and using a 4WD launch has gotten 12.8s so far. Not bad considering that's faster than what a typical stock turbo Cummins will run. Still not enough to keep up with many stock turbo DMax's though.

Seems that most of the Hemi guys think they're badazz. I have yet to see one that came close to keeping up. Oh well atleast they got a Hemi sticker on the fender.

ya, my buddys got a hemi. and on the way home from riding today he gets on it and was all " i could keep with you"..... OMG!!! it was such a stupid comment i just smiled
