I just installed a new flex plate with a new 1058 converter from Suncoast. Everything is back together but it's not acting right. I didn't touch anything in the trans besides changing the internal filter. It is a deep pan and I made sure that the new filter was for a deep pan. Napa part number 1-8663 or 4501130597. It looks exactly like the old one. It doesn't want to go into drive and when it does it just goes back to neutral. Here are the codes:
P0841 Transmission fluid pressure sensor A
P0848 transmission fluid pressure sensor B circuit high voltage
P0872 tfp sensor c circuit low voltage
Any ideas? Thanks!

I am not experienced with allisons at all but I have never had good luck with anything but Allison filters. the last napa one I had said made in china rite on it and would flare shifts until I put a Allison one back in it. hope you get it figured out!

Duh.
Looks like a stuck E shift valve. Sorry for the brain dead part.:baby:
Everything I have read also says stuck E shift valve. Another symptom I didn't mention is I can hear something clicking intermittently every 5-10 seconds. Sounds like s solenoid or valve clicking in the trans. It is just strange to me that it was working perfect before I swapped the converter and I didn't touch anything internal. Just changed the sump filter and fluid. I will drop the valve body today and see if I can find the culprit.

I may switch back to the old filter but they look exactly the same. I don't know how that would effect it. It's just a sump filter. I just had to make sure it was the longer one for the deep pan. What do you think Mike?
