Use the Alternate Tune difference function and copy tables. Do not change operating systems unless you have a good reason to. They control more than just the engine.

What OS are yo utrying to script to your current one. SInce you have an 03, I'm guessing you have an 9044. Keep in mind that not all early LB7 OS's are scaled the same as the later 02 and 03 OS's and will require some filling in and blending to make work. Let us know which 02 OS you need as I'm sure somebody here probably has it. I have a few different 01 and 02 OS's if needs be, but need to know which one.

01337605 is os on tune im trying to get into mine, 03904405

Hate to break this to you, but that OS will never script over correctly to yours. That is a mid year 01 OS whereas yours is an 03-04. GM changed the scaling in several of teh tables mid year 02, so your going to have to smooth and blend them to make it work on several of the tables. And that OS IS here in the tune libray under the stock 2001 tune files. It is a 3376, and you would have to modify it to a DSP5 and I have found taht the script built into EFILIVE doesn't script correctly for all of the 01 OS's, so it is some work to get the stock files transferred over to all of teh DSP positions correctly.

no problem!! guess its not gonna work anyway!!

It's doable, but takes ALOT of time. The best way to describe it is like taking an LBZ tune and putting it into an LMM. They are very simliar in how they are wrote, work with the same electreonics, but all of the tables are scaled differently, and theer is alot more of them. The early LB7's are red headed step children basically, and is why many don't use them as an 01-02 will work just as good on a 6006 02 OS as it will it's stock OS. And the 6006 is scaled just like the later 9044 to make transferring and scripting over a walk in the park. Hence why most tuners only work with the 6006 and later oS's to keep things simple and universal.
