The truck has developed a problem, yesterday it seems to have lost 20-30% power. Now I only have had a very mild stock ish tune in it for the last 3-4 weeks now due to snow cold etc. My first thought was Fuel Filter so I replaced it last night (no change), now this AM DTC light pops on so I scan and it tells me I have PO181, CO245, and B2575 any idea's? Oh yah almost forgot it seems to be Rattling alot at part 30-40% throttle???????????????? Dont know!!!!

Your in Mass.... fuel temp - possible gelling perhaps? Whats the outside temps been? Have you been using a fuel additive? Sorry im shooting in the dark here from what those codes are, seems all unrelated but possible your main problem is the first one Id be thinking.

SIKDMAX (not skidmax) beat me to the punch.

That fuel temp sensor is causing the rattle likely. Also FWIW, my LLY rattles like crazy if I put crappy winter blend in it without an additive. I've been putting a small amount of B20, that seems to help a bunch too.

It cant be fuel gelling weve only had 1 real cold day and even at that it was about 2' out. I just added some more power service last night with the filter change just in case. Hmmmm Im gonna clear them again and go log a drive around town. I wonder if the fuel cooler was pluged with snow and the fuel temp went crazy?? And I just put my winter cover on the grille. That would only add more heat in the Engine compartment. I'll be back and let ya know.

thinking outloud, but if the fuel cooler was plugged with snow...wouldnt this decrease fuel temp, temps of fuel would raise fast and melt the snow also

NO?

Ok cleared codes drove a bit and still low power and the C0245 no other codes Yet, BUT rattle seems to be better. WTH is going on here???? I wonder if my pre filter that came with my FASS system could be a problem? Though the log looked fine as far as fuel temp, pres. Boost goes to 20-22lbs etc. it almost feels like it is surging a little at WOT. This tune has a TINY itty bit more fuel than stock and a timing curve from a Race tune someone gave me, EGR shut off and that's about it. Up until now it has been great! Good milage, and ran pretty strong for being almost stock.

While everyone is busy buying boost and EGT gauges, the most handy one is a Fuel Pressure/vacuum gauge right before the CP3.

My guess is fuel supply. Romp on it and see how much the desired Fuel Pressure exceeds the Actual.

Have you ever changed the Fass filters? I change the Fass every 10-12K miles and the factory fuel filter every other oil change, Yea it costs a lot of money, but it eases my mind.

I dont have the full FASS pump/filter setup it's just a pre pump filter that came with the basic kit. Gonna change it tomorrow when I find a 1/2inch in-out push on somewhere.

The log didnt show any difference in Desired vs Actual Pressure???????? another Hmmmm
