Looking for a little suspension help here. just did a pro-comp 6 inch lift with front ladder bars and 2 inch rear blocks, the front has stock keys with only a few turns in the bolts to keep pressure on them, i got it aligned at the local GM dealer who always does a great job for me in the past on large vehicle alignments+lift alignments. For some reason under hard accel the truck will pull left and when you let off the gas the truck will pull to the left almost to the point its dangerous to drive if you put your foot down to play around. Any other time just street driving, etc, its perfectly fine and you can drive a straight line without hands on the wheel. Any advise on this? The truck has brand new ball joints, rancho9000 front shocks on firmest level, bilstein5100 rears and air bags also and has had the same set of nitto 305/55/20 terras on it for the last 20k miles and front diff locker. Any help would be much appreciated as this has been bugging me. thanks in advance!

I have g2 tie rods, stock knuckles, red head steering box along with moog pitman arm. The idler arm isn't new but it's tight. All centerlink joints and everything seems tight

I took the truck in for alignment because I had a bad wheel hop in the front end and it pulled left along with a crooked steering wheel

4x4 launches are a little rough but as long as you hold the wheel it won't pull too hard to the left.

I also have contemplated trying new CV axles. Next step is maybe taking the front drive shaft out to see if that helps or diagnoses my small vibration. New brake lines and calipers in July also

The centerlink has two braces on each side built into the lift kit. I'd have to send you a picture to describe it, it has the two eyelet links and basically does the same support as cognitos

I'm betting pitman arm is bent. Possibly idler as well. Ask me how I know:roflmao:

I will be checking steering components tonight for slack in any way, and is there any correct way to check for a bad bub bearing? I replaced those this summer as well and used Detroit axle brand bearings.

Also, what symptoms did you have with yours being a bent arms?

My guess is Waids truck pulled just like yours. I just jack the truck up and get the weight off the tires and grab the top and bottom of the wheel and give them a shake.

Makes sense. I'll give that a try. Figured I'd ask you guys on here before I started throwing parts at it !

Wheel bearings seem to be tight by the way and each has the same amount of resistance to want to turn by hand

I would bet there okay seeing how you just did them but never hurts to double ck. As Waid mentioned look close at the pit and idler arms.

Just picked the front end off the ground and checked it. Everything seems tight and visually the pitman and idler arms do not look bent or sloppy, The only steering wheel slop i have its roughly 1 inch of steering wheel play coming from the gearbox. Any other ideas or should i go ahead and try replacing the pitman and idlers?
