LB7: help with tune

I got my new turbo on my truck which is a 4202. I ran a 4094 before. Now below about 2100 RPM's i have no power. If you floor it off the line the truck wont smoke and the turbo wont spool. its like i only have the first 1/4 of the accelarator. After it lugs its way to right around 2100 you better hold the hell on. The fuel hits and the turbo lights and it will blow the tires right off. I cant figure out why it wont fuel below 2100. Its the same tune i was running before. Its really bad when your cruising and the TC locked. You only have the first 1/4 if the peddle. If it downshifts though it spools and takes off. If someone can help me.

Welcome to life with a big single. :rofl: I had a similar deal with my S475 but mines my DD so I moved to something a lot smaller. Can't help you with the tune but I know with decent tuning mine had similar response. Now with the same tuning this little S464 is a screamer

It's like its not getting fuel. It doesn't smoke like the turbo has lag and trying to light it just doesn't do anything.

mine does this also but my fueling is cut until higher RPM to help my rods out

try looking at your limiting tables, like b0751. sounds like it is limiting fuel until a certain perimeter is met.

Mine is bad if the converter is locked and it doesn't downshift you can hold the.pedal down and it will barely accelerate.

Jonathan give me a shout , make sure the MAF is installed in the right direction in the intake ( plug pointing up ) and the MAF scaling will need to be tweaked for the 5" intake tube for it to be optimal , but Rob may have already made some of those changes for the 4094 . .

Glag those changes are working Jonathan , and glad you like the turbo setup , now quit holding out on us and lets see some pics , I never got to even see it installed , that stealth black and 4202 was sharp looking !!
