Hi,
I am new to the forum. I have a 2002 GMC 3500 dually with an LB7. Very nice truck and has been trouble free. I have 160,000 miles on it. Yesterday I drove the truck and noticed the transmission indicator was showing third gear at all times (auto). I had also noticed that when locking the truck with the key fob the security light would stay lit. I replaced NSBU today. Cranked over slowly and showed a "low volt" condition on the dash voltmeter; then nothing at all. I noted the 40amp ignition fuse was fried. I spoke to a friend who indicated to look at the ignition switch and the 12V feed coming off the driver's side battery. The P 0700 code went away when I replaced the NSBU, however still no indicator backlight... Any suggestions???
Thanks,
Jarhead
