When I did my transmission I had an issue with a solenoid sticking. The valves that these solenoids control are at super tight tolerances. If it worked fine before the kit it could be as simple as some lint from a rag sticking the valve. I would try dropping the pan and pulling the valve body out and completely cleaning it all up. Reinstall and retry. Be sure to use lint free rags. And if you re-use the oil you drain out be sure your funnel has a fairly fine screen on it to catch anything. Thats what I ended up doing and was shocked how much stuff I had in the funnel screen even though it was all new oil and I had cleaned the pail out very well before draining the oil. With these Allison's cleanliness is critical.

Give me the code numbers in sequence ( if mutiple codes ). Your code explanation doesn't help.

Help

replaced the valves and cleaned the valvebody thoroughly. I am still experencing the same codes p0776 and the standard mil p0700. I now have a efi log file of what the trans is actually doing. Would like to have someone look at the efi file. please pm me your email.
thanks

If it started with the install of the TRANSGO, I would suspect you got one with a burred or improperly machined B trim valve. I know I've done 2 now where a trim valve had a burr on it and hung in the bore. If the valves don't move easily in the bore, you have a problem with either the bore or a valve. The last one I did required some polishing of the bore as it gouged it some when I slid the improperly machined trim valve in.

Here is the exact place the valve is hanging up (the red line). But as i attach the selonoid to the end of the assembly-fully seated- the valve does not back up to meet this hangup when fully assembled. but when i move the valve with my finger-the valve hangs up when the spring is fully relaxed. But like i said--it does not pass there when the selonoid is attached.
