So im down sizing from 20x12 -44 to possibly 20x9 -24. Im not sure because i was told by my tire place i have a few selections on offset for that size. I run my truck at i guess stock height in the front but i plan to take my keys out and throw drop shackles on. Question is will i rub with the -24 without fender/ bumper mod. Ive searched a few threads but i cant get a solid answer. Help is geatlly appreciate

Most 20x9s are not -24. The ones Ive seen are either slightly positive or 00.

20x10's however are -24.

More then likely with 20x9s and -24 offset you will rub slightly and need to do some minor trimmings/fab work. Really gonna depend on what tire size you go with.

Im going with 305/60/20.. I did some more research and im just worried -24 is still too much of an offset especially if i take the bolts for the keys almost all the way out for the track. So im thinking 20x9 0 offset

After spacers mine is around +0 offset with a 305/50/20 and I did zero trimming with a 3/5 drop but I can't say how much of a difference the wheel opening is on a classic vs a lmm. In all reality though a +0 would likely be very little trimming. Even a -24 would be far less trimming than a -44.
I personally hate the deep dish ridiculous negative offset wheels but who am I to judge.

I did the whole -44 stance thing.. That lasted a month. Im at the point now im either going to choose between -12 or 0 offset. Want a little wheel poke but dont want to hack my bumper and fender but i will do a bumper lift and push foward to make it fit if needed

I have my bolts all the way out of my keys with 20x10 -24 offset with 1/4" spacers because my tires were rubbing my IC tube I trimmed the fenders it wasn't easy but it was worth it i don't rub and have plenty of stance but -44 offset would be to much
