Is there a thread/video for injector cup/injector installation? The heads are out of truck. Motor is being assembled and next step is the heads. Any help will be appreciated.

Lube the o rings red loctight where the tip seats in the head. I like to torque the injectors before the loctight sets. They push in by hand, nothing to it

Green retaining loctite not red.

Use a socket to tap it in until it bottoms out if you need to. Use new orings. If any were leaking clean them up or replace if necessary.

Each loctite has a specific purpose, and is designed to "resist" movement of different types and at different temperatures. It's no different than greases or oils...many types may work fine, but there is 1 or 2 designed specifically for an application.

I've always used the red on Duramax cups, but I use green on the 7.3 PowerStroke cups. Never had any leak. Odds are you could interchange the red and green and be fine in this application.

I've used good ol red with no problems, but I usually go for the 638 green retaining compound. No issues with either.
