Help Please- LML controller won't connect

Trying to read the stock tune on this '12 LML. I did the updates and followed Kory's videos how to do it. When I right click the controller to select LML it isn't listed. If I do auto detect it shows up but with a red X. If I click "Read" It says "reading E86A controllers is not supported in pass through mode." What do I need to do?

GM restricted reading on LML controllers. You won't find it on the list because it cannot be done.

Unless I missed something, an LML can't be read through the obd port

Usually tuners provide you with a "stock file". To read your ECM you need to invest about $10K in European equipment, jack open your ECM and then read. Really not a cost effective solution.
