I just put head gaskets and injectors in a work truck and cant get it to start. When I try starting it the demand rail pressure is 6000 and the actual is 200-250 psi. I have worked the air out of every thing, and even put a make shift lift pump into the inlet side of the filter and still nothing. Any suggestions as to what to try next?? How do you go about trouble shooting the cp3 to see if it might be the problem? I am about ready to burn this POS!

Accidentally reversing the fuel supply and return rubber lines to the CP3 can happen, check that.

NVM, making 250 psi... maybe a hung injector... but it's getting late :alc:

Not what you want to here but as mentioned above a hung injector can cause this... Pull your glow plugs and crank the engine, if one is hung you will see it spray out the glow plug hole.

thats the next step, but with the lift pump on it its not loosing diesel. I have the pump sucking out of a jug.

I pulled all glow plugs and rolled it over, no fuel coming out of the holes, so that pretty much leaves it to the cp3 woudlnt it??

I put a rebuilt cp3 on and it fired right off,but............... it has no power and appears to have a whine/noise coming from the cp3 area. there is quit a big gap between the desired and actual rail pressure.....
