Hi all, so for a build I'm designing I've run into a slight road block. What I have planned is a self designed car that's going to be built off of an Art Morrison frame, it's going to be powered by a blueprint engines 632 big block with an efi kit from FASS backed by a 4l80 and here's where I've run into a road block. Ive decided that I am going to be backing it with a twin sticked np205 transfer case that way there's no place on pavement or on dirt it can't go, least when it's dry. I've decided that I'll be getting splines cut into the inner hubs to accept Porsche 911 axle shafts BUT the frame I've looked at doesn't look like it'd handle it well, along with the placement of the shocks is right in the way of where the axle shafts would pass. Any ideas on any solutions? Its also going to be skinned in dry carbon fiber panels attached to the framework of the body with Dzuz fasteners for on road and either steel or aluminum panels for off road, I'm also aiming to keep it around 2500 pounds when finished. If you have any ideas for any solutions or a different tranny case because I've been looking and a 205 is rather oddly shaped for this so I may look for a different one. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks for any information.
