I have a 06 Duramax 4x4 and I have a loud squeaking noise coming from the front drivers side of my truck when I start driving it for the day. After I drive for awhile the sound goes away. Its a metal on metal grinding noise. Then when I am driving down the highway if I turn the wheel ever so slightly to the left I can feel a vibration in the wheel coming from that side. Do I need a wheel hub assembly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe, jack up that side, an then grab the wheel top to bottom an see how much play is in it, front to back is usually a steering problem, up an down is a hub or ball joints, if u don't have any movement then take a bar an stick under the tire, lift up an check the ball joints, u might need someone to help with this, Good Luck
