efi isnt really a programmer really it is really a computer program that lets you right what ever program you want ( with in limits of the tables) and flash it in to the computer on the truck

get someone that has experience with tuning on the LBZ and havem build you a tune,or better yet buy it from a vendor on this site and most ofem will send 2 free tunes along with the EFILive.

BTW, that EFI Live you found for $550 most likely is V1 and will NOT tune your LBZ for you. You need to look for the V2 which is customerily $750 IIRC. Just an FYI. ;) Wouldn't want you getting something that was virtually useless to you.

Efi live all the way... Get it from a vendor that knows their tuning. There are many happy efilive users here. I have tried both worlds and would never go back to a tunner or chip whatever you may call them. I dont do any tuning yet but have been extremly happy with my custom tunes from the guy in my sig.:D

from my lbz experience you're bouncing off the fuel rpm limiter table b1117 when you get efi live thats ones of the tables that is causing you to lose power in the higher rpms

Heres what id do:

Suncoast Stage IV from Mike L.
EFI Live Tuned by Mcrat Racing
Airdog 150 Lift Pump

And if your thinking on a turbo i really like the 71.5 mm Cheetah from Fleece Performance. Im sure theres plenty more things to do than what i said but that will get you pretty far into the 13's at the track and if you put the Cheetah on you'll be runnin alot faster than 13's

If you're manually holding it in a particular gear, several parameters are causing this...If the trans is in "D", similar results...My '07 used to do the same thing about a year ago, now it doesn't...Adjustments with EFI Live will fix the condition...
