OK this may sound stupid but Steve @SSDieselTuning just sent me tunes for a buddies truck, i bought a vin license form him as well but when i punched in the activation code i realised i already had a license on my v2. So i figured oh well i will use it on something else down the road, but when i went to license his truck and activate the license i forgot to turn the ignition key on, the activation was successful??? I then went to Cal. Flash and tried to flash the new tunein because it said the lic. activation was successful. As soon as Cal. Flash started it told me i needed to license the controller? So i went through and licensed the controller with the key on this time
and flashed the tune in no problem:happy2: Problem is that i lost the extra tune that was available to me when this all started I took two screenshots of the license screen in v7.5 and v8 let me know what you think? I noticed all the numbers under the engine section are the same except the first few. Licenses in question are #9 and #10. Somehow i used both of them to tune this truck.
