Help; Injector Balance rate Slowly creeps up

I have 60% Exergy Injectors, installed for about 2000 miles or so and I am looking for possible causes for the balance rate on 1 injector to slowly rise to +8. Everything else +/- 2. I also hear some tapping at about above 2000 rpm. I pulled the injector and the seal looked fine. I replaced it anyways and still the same.
Anybody have similar issues? Any suggestions?

I spoke to Harvey @ Exergy and he said he would get back to me but I still wanted to get some opinions.

wondering the same thing, i have a few thousand miles on mine and #6 was getting to +4-4.5. I bet my #6 piston is the one that cracked too.

From what I have seen a climbing balance rate is normally an injector with a poor spray pattern that causes the cylinder to cool off and the balance rate to climb. The others I have seen do this would also start to smoke at an idle as the balance rate would climb.

I have a stock injector climbing to 4 or 5. Should this be replaced??
