Glad you have the truck running Kurt. Watch the bark, that's not good on the turbo shaft. Have a good time, but keep your head this time. Lots of luck aey...

Alright folks I've finally got my truck up and running correctly. Well, all but the carrier bearing. lol

I'm very happy to say the converter, transmission, and co-pilot are working flawlessly. Well, best I can tell. Several hard 4 wheel drive boosted launches, under moderate boost at launch, and I was still able to drive it home with not complaints. Sure like the feel of no traction. I guess traction will be the next major project. Enough babbling and rambling.

Thanks to everyone that helped me through the whole transmission crisis. Especially you Larry. Yes, after I change the carrier bearing, you can have a go at it. :D

Well I got to drive it for a few more days without trouble after getting it up and running. I don't think the converter is bad, but well something else is surely wrong. I now have 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears slipping. Thanks again George for helping me out. Thanks to you, there is still hope. Oh well, off to pulling the transmission again. :)

Be nice Dale. I think I'm putting my transmissions through the ultimate test.

C-1's are down the drain now. I think George ( bigdipper ) thinks maybe the failure is due to de-lamination. Oh well, trans is out and apart with proof of the failure. I'm gonna post a question where I can get as much info on C-1 failures and fix them all at once.

You know how I roll Mike!! Gotta give a guy a hard time once in awhile.
But your light them up in 4th into 5th comment has me intrigued!! I can spin 2nd gear on 35's and that's it, even Simon on his 35's with the dual fueller had a hard time with that. Sounds like you need to church up your tranny tuning a little!

Ya, been beggin Kevin to help me with a trans tune, well maybe not beggin. But at least I've hinted around a bit. I don't have 35's, but my tires measure 33 and are right at 12" wide. Larry and his son can vouch for the 2wd spinning and his son can vouch for the 4wd spinning and Larry to a point. I really don't think it's the tune, I think it was installation error for the C-1's, has to be. I'm just gonna buy some more and give it another shot, I'm just gonna be certain the installation is correct to a " T ".

Why don't you post some pictures of your C1's and we can make sure you get it right?
