I was cutting a section of my dipstick off for better clearance on my intercooler pipe with a grinder and I nicked a hard coolant line on the passenger side. Stupid I know. It's an aluminum line that comes out of the firewall and is now leaking.
Anyone ever have to replace this section? It has crimped fittings so I'm thinking its high pressure?
Seems like I can never catch a break

I had to replace it, it got a crack where the line meets the mounting bracket. I just unhooked it where it goes to the rubber hose at the firewall.

Cooling systems usually average 16 psi. Its not high pressure. Easy fix would be to cut it through and simply splice in a piece of heater hose with hose clamps.

That's the answer I was hoping for. I'll just cut the entire section out and replace it with heater hose so I have extra clearance.
Thanks
