OK so i tried to read a 08 lmm and when i tried to read his ecm it would keep freezing up. it would go to 60k or 360k and then just lock up on me. i pulled the radio fuse and what i thought was the onstar fuse but it didn't help at all. i need some help the guy needs to delete his dpf. and so far i can't help him out. any info from you lmm guys, or a word from Guy would be great. I'm gonna try again tomorrow. so if you guys can get back to me by then it would be great. also if anybody knows what number fuses i need to pull

nope no error msgs but i am using the newest release of efi with the black box logging. think that could be the prob?

Maybe. I know it's a dumb ? but you are selecting LMM ECM right? also I usually follow the key on, plug in V2, then into laptop and open tune/scan tool. Does it have a stock deck/radio? anything plugged into the cig. lighters?

Make sure the ignition is in the RUN position, and the cigarette fuse is AOK.

Shut down EFILive, Tune and Scan. Unplug cable from both ends.

If you have an aftermarket alarm or stereo, pull the power to it, since sometimes they won't shut-up when asked by EFILive.

Plug in cable, launch EFILive and try again.

thanks for the help guys, but out of fear of killing his ecm I've talked him into getting a quadzilla to delete the dpf. kinda sucks for me cause i could've used the money he was gonna pay me but at least this way i won't be responsible for any damage to his truck
