Trying to tune a truck I have hooked up to many times in the past... I keep getting Bootloader error. I un-checked highspeed, checked alt keys, Downloaded the latest and greatest firm ware and updated, un-installed efi live and installed newest 7.5 versions, tried in V8, unhooked both batteries for 30 minutes... Grr. this thing is pissing me off:mad:

I just got off the phone with the new owner of the truck to see if he had done anything. Only thing new is an autostart... Hmm think this might be it. Anyone else have issues with autostart messing with efi?

What years the truck?

Does it have an iPod cable hooked to the factory radio?

I see the autostart, I would def pull the fuse for that, but curious about the other stuff I asked

Alpine deck but I pulled the fuse for that...
I'm thinking its the autostart, I have never had an issue hooking to this truck before now.

I had the same problem with my 2001, efi worked great until I installed an autostart unit with keyless module for Passlock.
Unplug this module and it will work fine then plug back in when done.
