I need everyones help. Im in the air force and suppose to be in montana on next thursday morning im driving from ohio to montana. My truck ive vibrating VERY bad, it had a broken transmission mount that was fixed and no better still vibrating. The mechanic i took it to says its the clutch, i have a 6 speed, i got a new clutch at the beginning of the month but nothing is wrong with it i looked at it no grooves, no chunks missing, no bad springs nothing. Called southbend they dont think its the clutch either. the truck vibrates at idle and once u get to 1000 rpms it smoothes out and no issues its ok all the way up till 2000 rpms then it rattles bad, i dont think its the motor because it idles smooth and there is no lose of power. any help would be great.

So Cal.
Have you ever replaced the water pump on this truck? I bet the harmonic balancer sheared the key or is loose.

it vibrates at idle, i just got the truck back from the shop, the vibration is there now through the WHOLE rpm rang now, the new transmission mount has helped but theres still some rotating mass thats throwing the truck around, like i said its a solid flywheel south bend dual disk feramic clutch setup with less then 1500 miles on it and it only developed 2 days ago. Was not vibrating like this for the first 28 days of my leave. Im very confused how my flywheel ADDED or lost wait enough to make it shake now. please help im home until monday now.
