So, it obvious I'm new to this site and this is my first diesel anything. Hope to get some insite on the easy mods. I know of the egr blocker. I'd like to just delete it. But I better start small. This truck is my main set of wheels right now. I have a Tacoma X-Runner. But I'm doing body work to it. I have heard of a airbox mod. But don't know the details. And haven't looked. So can anyone help me out? Post up some links.

Yes, I get a EGR Blocker ASAP... As far the airbox mod unless your looking for every last .001 in the 1/4 mile I would leave it alone for now:thumb:

Dyno time :thumb: Pat spent lots of time on dyno. The only intake mod that showed any change was the Banks with the sealed RamAir. Which I wouldn't suggest anyone doing driving around in, where there is any chance of sucking water into the intake. I picked up .2 and 2 mph in the 1/4.

There are some threads here with before and after dyno's and a tutorial for sealing the box.

Intresting;) But what about the fact that you can buy a intake that has a filter you re use :) With the price of filters and depending on what conditions you are in it usually is cheaper in the long run to buy a intake with a cleanable filter instead of buying new filters:thumb: Those numbers seem fishy:( I have seen other dyno's show increase and I have seen how restrictive a stock filter can be specailly when it gets sucked in

My first post was my .02 Take it for what it's worth as well as my dyno numbers:thumb:

Also what about MPGs? Any tests:confused:

Nope... I'm looking for every last .001 :driving: If I was worried about MPG I wouldn't be driving a CTS-V :woott:

Ill post some pics after it gets above freezing and I can wash her. It's pretty much stock. 08 wheels on 265/70/17 Duravis 10 plys. 4" turbo back to 6" tip. I had to spray the front emblem satin black with krylon fusion.

OK, Got the blocker plate in. In my opinion, this thing spools quicker and sounds better. For some reason acts as if it gained me 1mpg while driving 55-60 in stage 3 hyper max tune. My trans cooler lines leak. Waitng for all season to get the line fix back in. PCV will be next. Resonator also. I would like to get a dry filter intake. Any specs for best choice out there?
