Ok after owning chevys all my life (Mostly muscle cars, I have a highly modified 2000 SS Camaro and a 71 SS Big Block El Camino currently) I am new to the Duramax world. I have owned several trucks 2006 dodge mega cab with a 5.9, 2010 ford King ranch dually with the 6.4, and several gassers including a 2006 2500 with the 8.1.
I have to say my 2011 2500 ext Z71 is my absolute favorite truck I ever owned and will never go away from chevy again.. Got it 3 weeks ago with only 15,000 miles.. looks like a garage queen and not a scratch on it. I have hand calculated the mileage at 21.5 mpg.. My POS Powerstroke only got 13 and had to have the entire motor replaced at 75K Thank god it was under warenty.
Anyway looking forward on meeting new folks
