I am getting ready to remove heater core and a/c fan motor and box from under the dash. My question is how has anyone else block the line coming from the t-stat housing to the heater core and the line that goes back to motor from the heater core.

I welded the line shut. To clean it up some more though i'm going to tap the hole in the t stat housing and plug it. For the other line I just cut it off short and plugged it.
