Heated seats

Having a problem with heated seat turn them on they stay lit up for 4 seconds n go back out what can be the problem?. Thanks

Most likely a bad heating element only way to tell wich one is to ohm them out

I may be wrong, but I think if the computer detects an issue in the driver side it'll disable the passenger side as well.

X2 on heater elements.

Damn ok I'll have to look into them elements... How do u test them and where do u find them at

Under the seat there will be 2 small green connectors iirc. One will go to the seat bottom and the other to the seat back. Need to disconnect and test each

Need to take the seat apart and remove the leather. Most people report having burn marks on the elements when they go bad. When my heated seats went bad, it was the drivers bottom element but it looked fine. Replaced it and all is good

If you ohm between the 2 wires of the connector you can bypass pulling the leather of needlessly

If you're lucky. All of mine ohmed out within spec but it was still bad.
