So yesterday I got in my truck and headed to class and on the way there felt my seat get hot and looked and it was on some how so I turned it off. Then it turned back to high stayed ther awhile and eventually disk hat until it went back to the high setting. I checked the connection under the seat and it was fine. Iv fought wiu this damn seat for he past 2 days and am tired of it! If any has any ideas please tell me. I'd like a permanent fix instead of just removing the fuse sense winters on the way Thanks for any help

My 02 has never had an issue but my dad's 04 avalanche has random trouble. Maybe the element is going out and draws a bunch of power?

My '03 did the same thing never figured it out. Traded it in on my LBZ. I noticed mine did it more when it rained. I thought it was in the door but never figured it out.

Letus know if you figure it out.

Its been raining the past 2 days actually. Maybe the moisture is what causes it to act up not sure how inside electronics would be bothered though?

Same here... I have to constantly have to keep pushing the button .... And after 4 minutes they stay on... If I turn both seats on it takes even longer for them to work right
