I turn on my heated seats they get hot and the just shut off anyone know why it happens on both side does not matter if one or the other is on tried all combos one side at a time does not matter it shuts off

Might have a bad element. When one of my elements went bad, neither the ds or ps seat heaters worked right. if one of the elements is bad, there should be a DTC... Check for DTC's with your flashscan.
hmmm... don't think so. I think the seat heater codes come from BCM. I'll see if I can find the seat heater troubleshooting tomorrow.
Another thing that my friend at the dealership said he has seen a few times is the wiring harness gets rubbed threw at the corner of the seat against the seat frame.
