well not sure if this is another "only happens to me" things. but yesterday i was driving to work and noticed that after only filling up the day before, i was down to a half tank. weird. so i get to work and get under it and notice a steady stream of fuel dumping on the ground. WTF! so after work i get back under it and notice that one of the 2 flexable fuel lines that goes from the trans bracket to the frame has rubbed against the floor and wore a hole in the braided part. so just a heads up, get under there and check to make sure those 2 lines aren't touching the floor so you don't waste $30 in fuel. :hello:

Same thing happened to me , but ended up being the fuel supply line to the engine after the lift pump. The fitting popped halfway off and man was it leaking. Lost about half tank in two miles. Thats what I get for running the 100 GPM pump.:D Had a guy pull up next to me on the highway and yelled I blew a heater hose and was spraying coolant. I looked at my dash immediatley to check over the temps. Everything was good. Looked in the mirror and could barely make out the mist spray in the back. I was cruising at like 60 MPH, and it was at dawn, still a little dark. I pulled off the side quickley, stopped, and saw that it was like a stream coming from under the truck just behind the cab and I immediatly knew what it was. Turned it off and looked underneath to find there was diesel fuel all over everything. That sucked to craw under and fix with the fuel dripping off everything onto me and was very slick to touch any of it. Got the line fixed and back on and was on my way again.:) Thank goodness it was just a bad fitting.;)
