LBZ: Headlight Adjusting

So i was adjusting my headlights tonight and i adjust one side, then go to adjust the other side and it is pretty hard to turn in either direction, then i hear clicking...the little gears or whatever it is inside the adjuster are skipping. Is it possible to buy the headlight adjuster for up and down?


On another note, after adjusting them i started my truck and intermittent on the passenger side, only at idle it makes a like scraping noise, I dont think it is an exhaust leak, best way to describe it is maybe like crickets or the turbine wheel scraping the inside of the turbo. What possibilities could it be? Thanks

Looks like you can buy the two adjusters separately, but that site doesnt give the full part numbers...which sucks. I see xx524772 for the horizontal adjuster, xx533095 for the vertical. I think Henry can find the actual numbers, though.

Chirping is either 1) belt, 2) tensioner pulley or 3) idler pulleys.

I've had chirping noise from the bearing on the belt tensioner on other GM trucks in the past. If thats it it is an easy fix.

I had 1 go out @ 75mph and the pully took out the radiator.

Rock auto has whole new headlight assembly for $32/pc. Not sure if they come with adjusters or not but that would be cheaper than adjusters I would assume.
