Back seat and back bumper are good for almost another 150#'s. Take a battery out and thats another 40#'s. Dang near a tenth with those gone

Spare tire carrier should unbolt. Mine did, 1 bolt holding it in and it was about 15 lbs or more.

I cut mine out of my 05 it's riveted in, had the bed off and gouged the rivets with a plazma.

Gotcha. Yeah didn't realize the whole thing is that heavy. You could relocate some weight from the front to the back like move batteries to the bed.

What did you do in place for a crossmember? How did you mount your rear shocks? I am planning on doing that this winter and moving both shock mounts to the back of the axle.
