Truck has 80,000 miles radiator hose is hard over night. When the overflow cap is removed it doesn't appear pressurized. No smoke out of exhaust, no coolant smell. Truck drives great. Tried to pressure test the cooling system but the adapter leaks. Any thoughts?

Ha I'm just forwarding this for a buddy. I should have said nothing comes out of the overflow as in coolant Brian.

Hey my truck is doing this... hose stays hard, and when I pop the cap it bubbles and pukes coolant. I guess I'm looking at head gaskets?

04 LLY. Mods in my sig. In 3,000 miles added less than a quart of coolant.

Thanks Nick

grab a tester from an autoparts store that checked for combustion gases in the coolant and see how it turns up. having to add any coolant over that short of time is pointing towards HG though
