Anyone have any luck using a headgasket sealer additive for a quick temporary fix? What brand did yall use? Im trying to fix these blown headgasket symptoms for just long enough to trade this truck into a dealership.

Almost every HG job I've done someone has poured one thing or another in and none of it worked. All it does make for a bunch more cooling system flushing when the hg are fixed.

Why not fix it and just add it to the value I really doubt the dealer will notice it being bad till after the deals done but they may come back on ya for it they did that to a friend of mine.... I warned him but didn't listen and got sued

well a couple thousand on a HG job wont increase the value of my truck $2,000. I want to make it where the truck wont puke coolant as its sitting at the dealership lol

i would never private party sell it to someone and pull the wool over their eyes.

I, however, have no issue ****ing over a dealership.

How can that be, when you sign the paperwork the deal is done. People do it to the dealer I work for on a daily basis, that's the only reason someone trades an older car in at a dealer, everyone knows that.

Exactly. You sign a sold as is sheet that says the dealership has had their chance to check the vehicle over.

They might want you to sign something saying the vehicle is in perfect working condition, then they could **** you
