One day after I shut my truck off it immediately began leaking antifreeze. I quickly located the leak. It was coming from the lower water pump hose and tightened the hose clamp with no more leaks. Over New Years I was in Glamis and got the Fver stuck. In trying to get her out with back and forth movements, I thing the motor must have been twisting cuz the exhaust check for the pcv reroute that I have welded onto the exhaust by the cat Bent by hitting on the bottom of the cab and one of the heater core hoses ripped off the fixed aluminum nipple that comes from the firewall and leaked out about 2.5 gallons of coolant out. Luckily my brother was still in Brawley and picked up 3 gals of Dextron and refilled the reservoir without burping any air out. We sawed through the stupid fitting and slid the hose over the aluminum nipple at the firewall and put a hose clamp on it. After driving about 5 minutes the low coolant light came on again so I refilled the 1/2 gallon. Drove all the way home to Victorville with no issues. 2500 miles later the passenger side wheel well had coolant on it as well as the fender but the coolant level was just fine. Another 1000 miles after that which was Monday the 26th the low coolant light came on again. I filled her up to the level and started the truck, the reservoir immediately began overfilling. My upper radiator hose was as hard as a rock. I drove home (80miles) and the coolant tank was empty. Filled the tank up and every time I start the truck it immediately sprays out of the reservoir overflow. Also I have bled the air screw on the thermostats since then but to no avail and btw my heater will not get warm no matter how long the truck idles, only after driving about 15 minutes will it then heat up. Now im planning on taking the truck on Monday to PPE in Placentia to get head gaskets for $3300 the guy said don't even waste you're time on replacing thermostats. I think it will be okay to drive 80 miles in the cold to Placentia hopefully it don't leak all the coolant out on the way. Any thoughts??

That was not easy to read. Should you ask them to check the driver side motor mount, too?

Holy paragraphs. Cocoal where are you? Need some lessons here.

Yeah I would look at the mounts. That what the first half seemed to be. Second half definitely seems like hg.

What color is your reservoir tank inside?
