I'm getting ready to install my boost gauge and would like to use some braided stainless line for about 6 or 8 ft. My question is what size line should I use? Thanks in advance

The smallest you can find. It doesn't hurt to go bigger, but it doesn't help either.

It's cheaper and easier to route when it's smaller.

X2 , plus if it ever fails it wont affect EGT's or boost as much , had a 1/4" line fail before and it is actually noticeable on the EGT gauge while towing , if i remember it was 100 deg higher than normal with the 1/4 line leaking.

How far are you planning on running the braided stainless lines? If you are running it anywhere near any wiring you need to be very careful to prevent the braided line from rubbing through the insulation, especially in tight places such as a grommet through the firewall.

I already have the 1/8" plastic line ran through the firewall, so probably enough braided stainless to go from downstream of the intake heater to the firewall. I'm probably going to use some wireloom to cover that to make sure it doesn't rub any wires
