I have 3 WU's on my laptop that will not upload to server 171.67.108.25, 171.64.65.56, or 171.64.65.54. Any of you ever seen this before? I have it running on a dual core machine from the command prompt.

The latest WU is only taxing the cpu for 50% instead of the normal 90+%.

Firewall is turned off, but this machine has uploaded results before. I am open to any suggestions.

When the latest WU finishes, if it does not upload, I will try the tray version in windows to see if it works.

Oh yeah, the machine has been rebooted to try and eliminate that issue. The other 2 machines on my network at home do not have any issues transmitting WU's.

grizzly what are the specs of the system your folding with? I know 2 of my computers are running the smp client mp stands for multi processor. Its command line only and can be run as a service. If your a dual or quad core you can run a seperate client from a seperate directory for each core, or you can run the smp client. On my laptop I have the smp client running in a cmd window, but on my desktop i have it running as a service. not easy to set up but if you know your way around a computer you can do it, if you have questions ill try to help but mcrat and poltergiest are the computer pros.

ok grizzly, you need to copy the command line program to a different directory, rename it something easier then F@H-win32-blah blah blah i suggest FAH, then goto start>run> and type CMD hit enter. now CD to the directory you put FAH in and start it up, if your going to leave it running type fah -configonly and set it up, when asked for advanced options type yes, when asked to install as a service type yes. then restart the computer. it will run completely in the background.
if you want to view the log goto that folder and open the fahlog.txt and that is your current log file. I tried that and it worked for me, than again i did stay at a holiday in express last night. the scientist ranks thread had the link i believe for the sig image.

They may be having a problem with their servers. It has happen to me a number of times. The program will keep trying until they fix the problem. I have also had problems with WU not downloading due to problems with their servers.

I started both a system tray folding client and the cmd line smp client. Both taking about 50% so I am still working toward a goal. Hopefully I can get all of the WU's in the backlog uploaded.

On the other hand, the Mac Mini and my other machine seem to be doing just fine for submitting results.
