I am actually wondering what that will be like. Could be hillarious, in a sad way.
The other side is a lot of people who never tuned the Cummins before will now (like me), because there weren't any good tools before. I'd guess the guys who stack will still stack and steer clear of EFI because it confuses them.
That, and I am curious exactly what a CR Cummins will take in terms of fuel and timing before it lets loose. Although we might just black out the sky first.
I got stuck behind a CR Cummins coming out of a parking lot the other day. It had a smarty and banks stack going on. Looked like a black blanket rolling out of the tailpipe. My biggest tune wouldn't even come close to doing that and that tune isn't exactly small.
You called it right by saying they black out the sky. I don't know what kind of timing those two together are calling for but damn does it get some rattle going going on. Give them EFI and there's gonna be some entertainement going on
Thanks Everette, it was derived from a customer came in and said he wanted to go fast and not blow the tranny, hard mix but ok... Ordered him a smart then he talked to his brothers cousins baby daddy's grandpa or whoever and I had to keep ordering him tunes..lol was just kinda funny at the time..now it has a blown tranny and sits in garage...lol on the tuning side of this...I can tell ya I will not be scared in the least to plug and play because hell, we can all admit to seeing the cummins take
