Went to the track last night and had a few problems:

One is that with my 305-50-20s I launch awesome and ran my best 60ft (1.76) but it kills me the rest of the way down the track 13.89 1/4 @ 94. So then I put on some 285-75 on PYOs and had worse 60fts (spun bad off the line) but ran a 13.63 and that was with the second problem happening. I'd rather find out what had me in Protection mode than just disable it - I want to leave some safegaurds in place. I need to see what the 16x10 MB motoring rocker rims on my Bronco II weigh and look into some good tires for them.

On my best run of the night my truck must have went into Engine Protection Stage '1' (B0733) because my flow dropped to 60mm3 when I hit 5th and that's the only thing I see in the tune that would command under 100mm3. So what all can put me into that? C1806 is already no default.

Third problem was fuel pressure. At 3100 PW, 100mm3 flow, 2503 RPM I got as low as 16604. Just wondering if that is normal after a 150 gph lift pump and a PPE Race Valve? And what are the cheapest ways to get rail pressure to hold better? If I get an LBZ pump and mod it how much would it help me out?

Sounds like you might have had a hidden P0299.

This limits the fuel to about 58mm3 IIRC.

Go to the Diag>Boost> and set the Underboost Allowed Error to 15PSI.

3100ms won't normally pull you down more than 19K. Check fuel filter. Got fuel supply pressure gauge?

I might just get a modded reg for my stock pump - I'm just looking into my options.

My Air Dog and it's filters are new and my truck's filter probably has 1,000 miles on it. Where would I put in a supply pressure gauge? Can I put it in after the filter so I know if I need to change any of the filters, I was just under 1/2 tank. I thought 16K was really low for 3100ms with a lift pump and race valve.

Fixed the underboost table - thanks for the tip.

Well just an update - I ran at the track last Friday and my rail pressure was even worse - it didn't get about 15K PSI all the way down the track and was barely above that while staging. So before jumping on buying a new CP3 (although the stoker is tempting) I decided to change all the filters and crank the PPE race valve as tight as I could. Holy SH!T, what a difference - the lowest my rail pressure dropped on the same tune was 196XX PSI. My 4WD boosted launch made me a little light headed and in 2WD it breaks the tires loose at 45 mph. I can't wait to see what I run next time I'm at the track and I'm probably gonna pull Saturday so I'll let everyone know.

Most recent update:

At the track I was holding just under 21K PSI at 3100 PW and raised it to 3200 and still held over 20K on my stock LLY CP3 and ran a 13.10 1/4 with a bad 60ft on bald 285-75 BFG ATs on PYOs. I'm fairly certain it was my PPE Race valve- I got about 1/8 turn out of it torqueing the hell out of it. Whooped the shit out of a Cobra Mustang, a Cummins and a few other rides so I'm fairly happy with it. Hoping the LB7 intake bridge, intercooler tubes and boots, LBZ turbo inlet elbow, and LBZ S&B intake (running stock LLY with STP paper filter) get me in the 12s. I still couldn't get traction off then line but still managed a 1.76 60 ft.
