Two Mexicans are lost in the desert, wandering aimlessly,
and close to death. They are close to just lying down
and waiting for the inevitable, when all of a
sudden...
'Hey Pepe, do joo smell dat?
Ees bacon! I an sure of eet!'
'Si, Luis, she smell like bacon to meee.'
So, with renewed strength, they struggled up the next sand
dune and, there in the distance, was a tree loaded with
bacon.
There was raw bacon, dripping with moisture, fried bacon, back
bacon, double smoked bacon... every imaginable kind of
cured pig meat.
'Pepe, Pepe, we saved! 'Eees a bacon tree!'
'Luis, are joo sure ees not a meerage? We een Desert , juno.
'Pepe, when deed joo ever hear ob a meerage dat smell like

And with that... Luis Raced toward the tree. He got to
within 5 metres, Pepe following closely behind, when all
of a sudden, a machine gun opened up,and Luis was cut
down in his tracks. It was clear he was mortally wounded
but, true friend that he was, he managed to warn Pepe
with his dying breath.
'Pepe... go back man! Joo was right! Ees not bacon tree.'
'Luis, Luis, mi amigo... what eet ees den?
