Well i finally quit playin around and jacked the fuel pump off of my Malibu drag car and put it to use as a lift pump on the dirty "D"

Its a summit Billet pump for carb applications (they no longer have?). Works great! It was loud as hell on the wagon but it was solid mounted. I have it mounted to rubber isolator mounts to the bracket and between plate and chassis, so its not to loud at all :) Can bearly hear it and not at all when the truck is runnin. The piece of safety wire is there in case the mounts fail to hold the pump from fallin.

Some Q's for ya...
I have heared of issues running psi above 10psi, at idle and coasting it reaches nearly 15psi, but it is running fine, actually idles smoother than ever. Should i add a regulator and drop the psi down? I have a standard holley reg. for carb application that psi wise will work fine if i plug one of the dual outlets, but will it work with diesel fuel or will diesel eat it up? I don't want to hurt anything from over-psi.

If anyone has a metal bleeder screw for the fac. fuel filter head, i want to buy one! I don't trust the plastic one and the one i ordered is the wrong thread!
