Why do people put the h2 rims on duramaxes?

I think a lot of it has to do with it having the correct amount of back spacing to run big tires within the stock fenders without a lift.

It's also because the H2 rims are bigger than the dinky 16 x 6.5 factory rims.

Hey GM - If you're really looking at these forums, take a hint. Put bigger rims on the Dmax's. We would appreciate it!

I like them because they have the correct backspacing, I hate wheels that stick way out.

They fit, they look nicer than factory, They have a strong heavy casting, cheaper than aftermarket, easy to replace if something should happen to one, they're cheap, oh, and they look sweet.

The H2 rims look really nice on your truck. I can't tell exactly from your picture but it looks like you used the factory center cap. Is this correct?

I think Vrabel has the 08 style centers but the older style will work too but you have to trim the little round tabs off of the inside of the cap.

Yes, they're 08's. A $40 ebay new take off find. :thumb: They fit almost like they're made for the wheel. I can post a better pic tomorrow.
