GUYS WITH THE RANCHO 9000s

for those of you that dragrace with the rancho 9000s shocks- i am going to the track later this afternoon(maybe rain) or tommarow(seems like better weather tomarrow) and would like to know what # setting you guys set the front shocks at? also the rears? i took the long traction bars off and am going to clamp the front and rear of the springs in the rear.

I am 2wd - I have the rears settings maxed out at 9. I have tried the softer settings and it really upset the truck going down the track. I have the front set at 7.

I wouldnt clamp the rear portion of the leafs. Tried that a couple times and it increased wheelhop.

I hate to say it, but I think I may need to go the Rancho route. Just gotta save my pennies.

I just got a set for 320 bucks to my door. Took about a week for shipping partly because they didnt get the order out for three days but it was alot cheaper than going through anyone else. I got them from truckaddons.com

Didnt go today, spent the day tuning and playing with tcm tuning, i had a shift tieup and didnt want to break stuff at the track. Made it a little better, hopfully wed night at test and tune and i need to get my spring clamps hopefully before then.
