You will want to support the side of the bed I used old tent poles
And kept most of the structure. For support

One thing I see. How big of a gap is there for the fuel cooler as it looks to be almost flat up on the box back? Will it get the air you want?

What you can't see is that I cut a hole behind that..... It's actually the trans cooler. That fan moves alot of air and it's way better than being tied into the stock coolant system on a race only application

I see that works much better then I could see lol.

I was thinking the lines were a bit small for fuel but was not sure what it could have been.

It connects to a oil pump and sucked from the pan and returns over the c3s

So did she turn into a short bed yet? It's funny how much weight you can get out of the bed. Two guys with two fingers each could lift mine after we got done with it. Good idea on cutting a hole for the trans cooler, im going to steal it Lookin' good!!

Thanks a lot Simon that helps a lot. I'll have a few more questions once I finally start doing the gutting after xmas. So did you just relocate the expansion tank to the bed also?

Yes Dave the water pump and rad and expansion are all in the back now


Russ no short bed . Abby has been gutted like this for a while and Dave asked for some pics

Maybe make it a SB after I stop changing everything else lol
